Customer Reviews
If you follow the directions ; watch the video your headlights will look like new. My lights on my 98 mustang were so bad I never thought they could be fixed. Not only were they yellow and cloudy, but they had a coating that looked like it was flaking off. But after about 20 mins of work they look like new. The process was very easy to do.
This product saved me a ton of money and was a great price!
The price would be perfect if the product were perfect. Maybe for cars that are just a few years old where the lenses have become only slightly worn this would be the cats meow. In my case I have a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee (i.e. rather large lenses) so if I used one full pack to do one lens then maybe this product would have worked fine but unfortunately such was not the case. They could have made life much easier if they'd better explained about removing the white backing paper OR better yet had an overleaf tab to pull so that everyone would fully understand how to get it off without screwing up the clear contact cement backed layer below. Likewise the optical finishing gel provided I couldn't get out of its tube and had to cut the top off plus the amount they gave me was pathetic. If you're doing small lenses then this would possibly work but they were miserly with their materials when they didn't have to be. Either raise the price and provide enough materials to do any vehicle lenses OR state that one might require two pacs if very worn. I'd love to give it more stars as I feel it has potential but in my case it fell far short. I'm a Architect/Sculptor so I know what I'm doing. I had some micro-finishing gel from 3M kicking around and used that on their finishing pads to get a much better job but it's still not like new nor even close to new. Should I expect 'looks like new'? I was!
