This product looks like it would work. I used almost all of the colors trying to match the color I needed and still no success. I wouldn't recommend this if your leather does not have a common color
I attempted to use this kit to repair a leather car seat. The base glue worked well to fill in the crack. The color filler did not adhere well to the glue or the leather. I was unable to transfer a grain with the enclosed iron to the filler as described in the instructions. Color matching was a challenge. I completed the repair with an acceptable, but not perfect, color match and no grain pattern. In the last 3 months, the color filler has worn off completely, but the glue is largely intact with minor cracks. I'm looking for a better product to try again. I saw an add for a 3M product that may have promise. I gave it 2 stars, instead of 1, because it may have worked better on a different type of tear or leather that gets much less wear.
